About Me

As an artist, living in Scotland, surrounded by mountains sea and sky, I’ve found inspiration from the landscape. My paintings contain an atmospheric depth reflecting the ever changing weather.

Most of my paintings are created in my studio. I paint mainly on paper with acrylics; adding acrylic inks, Indian ink and pastels.

My latest collection was inspired by a summer research project sailing on a Sigma 41 giving us an ocean-going platform from which to paint and reach remote beaches.

This research project gave me the opportunity to explore the islands of Western Scotland, and the ocean with which they are intimately connected- on a journey in sketching, painting, and varied mixed medium techniques, creating new ways of capturing landscape and ocean.
